Teaching
We offer courses in the fields of political communication, international communication as well as computational methods. Our teaching is mainly aimed at students of the B.A. Journalism and Strategic Communication (JoKo) and the M.A. Communication in Digital Society (KoDi). We also open thematically relevant courses to students focussing on cultural studies of Eastern Europe.
ERC Consolidator Research Group
The Consequences of the Internet for Russia’s Informational Influence Abroad (RUSINFORM) is a six-year project (2019-2025) funded by the European Research Council (ERC). It investigates how, and with what consequences, new Internet-based technologies have contributed to the emergence of novel resources, techniques and processes by which political Russian elites can influence media audiences abroad.
