The project ISA:Dig "Internal Degree Programme Audits Before the Background of Digitalisation – Didactics in Higher Education as a Stakeholder in Programme Development and Evaluation" aims to develop and evaluate an audit procedure for degree programmes using an iterative approach.
Since 2016, in the project 'Strategies for Skills Acquisition: Innovative Teaching and Consultation Concepts in Teacher Training' (SKILL), scientists at the University of Passau have been working to close the gaps between scientific discipline, teaching methodology and educational sciences.
The object of the SKILL school cooperation project is to support teaching staff in the implementation of their tuitional aims, with and via digital media, in such a way as to correspond to the individual development objectives of the school.

Research question of the German-Chinese textbook project:
The research group aims to determine what ideas and knowledge about China German adolescents receive through textbook texts. Of particular interest is reconstructing the image of China that emerges from the selected textbooks.
The ALGe-project examines the links between learning tasks, task perception, and learners’ characteristics. The key question of this project is how to design learning tasks, which lead students to the use of deep learning strategies.
The relationship of gender to the quality and type of interaction in the mathematics classroom is a question that has concerned researchers for some time. Past studies have indicated that patterns of interaction can be gender-specific, despite individual teachers regarding themselves as teaching in a gender-neutral manner.
What should student teachers be able to do when they have completed their first school internship? What competencies can be expected of a student teacher at the end of the first teacher training phase?
