Hafsa Idrees has a demonstrated history of working in the field of anthropology and urban studies. After completing the masters degree (in anthropology) from Pakistan, she then completed the masters degree in development studies and is currently completing the doctrate with a focus in urban heritage in Myanmar and George town, Malaysia. She is an active member of the project 'Souths of the World' led by Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM) and has been since 2019. Hafsa also has the honor of receiving the Chancellor Medal for her M.phil degree in anthropology from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad.
