At the University of Passau, the Chair of Education with a focus on Diversity Research and Educational Spaces in Middle Childhood distinguishes itself inter alia through a close interaction between theory and practice as well as through the supervision of professional-related reflection. In addition to the implementation of alternative forms of internship (Le:Moc, formerly model curriculum), the specialization module (mandatory) excursions, the obligatory portfolio work and the choice of a focus certificate were anchored.
