International Internship Programmes
Supervised Internship Programme
As a student teacher in Passau, you have the opportunity to complete part of your mandatory internships abroad. To do so, you can either find a school for your internship yourself as a ‘free mover’ (tip: PASCH network) or take advantage of an existing programme, after consulting with the Teacher Placement Office responsible for you and your subject supervisor.
Essential information, including on the various programmes, financing, credit transfer and semesters on leave, can be found here: internship abroad.
We would like to present a teaching internship programme supervised by the chair below: This programme is open to all teacher training students at the University of Passau and enables them to take part in a teaching internship of at least four weeks at a partner school in Kobe (Japan), Pamplona (Spain) or the Western Cape of South Africa (Principia Primary School and Rooirivier Primary School). The internships usually take place during the semester break and are accompanied by a compulsory accompanying event that enables comprehensive organisational and content-related preparation as well as intensive exchange between participants.
To apply for an internship, you must attend the relevant all-semester info event or an individual preliminary meeting. For further information, please contact Dr. Kathrin Eveline Plank
