Model Curriculum (MC) – Alternative Internship
The aim of the alternative internship ‘Modellcurriculum (MC)’ is to link scientific and practical teacher training more closely.
It enables the early development of a scientifically sound understanding of the field by combining studies with school, educational and teaching requirements.
The Model Curriculum can replace the Orientation Internship, PDP I and PDP II.
The duration of the internship is based on a school year with block phases during the semester break and periods during the lecture period when students are studying. This alternative internship always starts in the winter semester.
To register, please use the registration form, which must be signed by the respective school, and submit it to both the Teacher Placement Office and the supervising professorship by 1 June of the respective year.
The alternative internship model curriculum enables students to specialise in systemic therapy at an early stage.
Students choose an MC school that matches their desired profile. The example shown here is the focus on inclusive gifted education (BegIN). The chair offers topic-related seminars in the GSP or SU specialisation module.
