Internationalisation

The promotion of internationalisation, both in quantity and quality, is a key objective of our University. It must be embedded at all levels—research staff, students, and administrative staff—and fostered as a two-way process. This means that, alongside sending students and lecturers abroad, we aim to welcome an increasing number of international researchers, lecturers, and students to Passau.

Internationalisation is a core focus of the Faculty of Social and Educational Sciences. Studying abroad provides valuable intercultural experience, complementing academic knowledge. Employers increasingly value international experience when considering candidates for entry-level positions.
