International affairs

The promotion of internationalisation in both quantitative and qualitative terms is our University's stated goal. Internationalisation must be ensured at all levels (research staff, students, administrative staff) and needs to go both ways. In other words, not only should students and lecturers from Passau go abroad but a growing number of international researchers, lecturers and students should come to Passau. The University of Passau offers lots of well-devised mobility programmes for student mobility (especially via ERASMUS and DAAD) and numerous advice services for students.
With a view to promoting mobility among lecturers and researchers, the international visiting lecturers programme for the promotion of teaching was specially developed at and for our faculty, as was the international visiting academics programme for the promotion of cooperation in research.
