International Visiting Lecturer’s programme of the Faculty of Social and Educational Sciences
The international visiting lecturers programme of the Faculty of Social and Educational Sciences is intended for any of the faculty's own university teachers who wish to invite an international academic to the University of Passau for the purpose of promoting cooperation in teaching and improving student exchange.
On the one hand, the programme intends to acquaint students at home at the University of Passau with international academic content and methods. On the other hand, the purpose is to create exchange opportunities and points of contact for future cooperation activities and to strengthen ongoing partnerships.
You will find the general requirements and all the necessary information relating to applications and remuneration in the guidelines.
Only university teachers of the Faculty of Social and Educational Sciences of the University of Passau are eligible to apply.

The hosting chair or professor has primary responsibility for assisting the academic during his or her visit. The Welcome Centre of the University of Passau offers comprehensive support to both the chairs and professors when it comes to finding accommodation and organising a ZIM account, Stud.IP access and a CampusCard.
