Compact seminars

Since the winter semester 2018–19, the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities has been in charge of managing compact seminars which have been defined as compulsory subjects or compulsory seminars in the study or examination regulations. The voluntary seminars continue to be offered by the Centre for Careers and Competencies (ZKK).

­­Specific compact seminars and/or compulsory seminars need to be completed in many bachelor's and master's degree programmes offered by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.

Recognition of prior learning, such as coursework and assessments completed abroad, may be possible for the following programme-specific compact seminars. Such decisions are made by the programme co-ordinators. For any related enquiries, please contact the programme co-ordinators specifically responsible for your degree programme.
