Examination and Theses
All seminar papers must be turned in digitally and as a printed version, with both versions containing a filled in cover page template (see below) and a declaration of authorship (affidavit). Please turn in the printed version held together with a fileback fastener (not a paper clip) and either bring them by in person or address them to the Chair and drop them off at the University-wide mailbox at the Verwaltungsgebäude or our own mailbox in the lobby of HK16.

Guidelines for Academic Papers (seminar papers, bachelor and master dissertations etc.)
Bachelor:
At the professorship, the following persons supervise Bachelor theses on the respective broad subject areas:
- Professor Dr Bernhard Stahl (International Politics in general)
- Dr Sören Keil
The prerequisite for the supervision of a Bachelor thesis is the attendance of at least one Hauptseminar at the professorship and the attendance of both lectures (Introduction to the Study of International Politics & Selected Chapters of International Politics).
Master:
At the professorship, the following persons supervise Master theses on the respective broad subject areas:
- Professor Dr Bernhard Stahl (International Politics in general)
- Dr Sören Keil
Prerequisite for the supervision of a Master thesis is the successful completion of at least one Master's class (term paper) at the professorship.
In principle, no Schein-certificates will be issued by the professorship for non-credited academic efforts, as these can be listed as additional achievements in the HISQIS statement. In documented exceptional cases (e.g. necessary ECTS for a Master's program), this basic rule can be deviated from. In this case, please send the completed form by e-mail to Heidi.Riederer@uni-passau.de.
